Recording mode

How new sessions are recorded. A session already open keeps the mode it started with.

Moderator's tablet only
  • Only the moderator's tablet records: one channel with the whole room.
  • Participants sign in on their phones only to ask for the floor and show agree / neutral / disagree. Their phones do not record.
  • Speakers are told apart by voice. Names come from the moderator tapping who is speaking (and from turns given from the queue); anything left unnamed can be named in Transcripts.
Each participant's own channel
  • The tablet records the room and every participant's phone also records their own microphone as a separate channel.
  • Each line of the transcript is named by its channel, without taps.
  • Needs every participant with a phone and lapel microphone or headset, and a good connection for each one.
